Economic Pulse Analytics is a British Columbia based research and advisory consultancy borne out of a demand for sound economic and demographic analysis to inform decision making and manage change at the sub-national level. Our clients consist of both public and private sector entities looking to better understand the trends that are shaping their communities and markets. Through reliable economic, demographic and sector specific market research we provide our clients with actionable insights to inform their decision making processes. Dr. Kyle Farrell
Managing Partner & Urban Economist
As Managing Partner of Economic Pulse, Kyle works with clients to define challenges, conduct data driven analysis, formulate scenarios and direct decision making processes. He has a strong track record in stakeholder engagement, data analysis and performance optimization in both the public and private sector.
Dr. Farrell's work takes place at the crossroads of economics, demographics and urban development. He has more than 10 years experience working globally for international organizations, universities and think tanks. He has held academic appointments at the KTH Royal Institute for Technology (Stockholm) and Harvard University (Cambridge) and is widely published and referenced in academic and mainstream media circles. Kyle regularly consults as an Urban Economist for the United Nations and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Block by Block Foundation, an innovative collaboration between Microsoft, Mojang (the creators of the popular game Minecraft) and UN-Habitat.
